Content & Media Policy

1. General Principles

Nabi is a professional platform. Content should be suitable for a general audience that includes minors. When in doubt, err on the side of restraint. If content requires an age-verification warning in another context, it does not belong on Nabi.

All content must be original or properly licensed. Do not upload photos, videos, music or written text that belongs to someone else without their permission.

2. Photos & Images

Required standards

• Product images must show the actual item for sale — stock photos or images copied from competitor sites are not permitted on listings.
• Modeling photos must be tasteful and professionally focused on clothing, styling or aesthetics.
• Profile photos must show your face or your legitimate business logo — not another person's likeness.

Prohibited images

• Sexually explicit, nude or pornographic imagery of any kind.
• Images depicting graphic violence — blood, injury, death or bodily harm presented gratuitously.
• Images that demean, mock or dehumanise individuals or groups.
• Imagery promoting prohibited products (weapons, drugs, tobacco, etc.).
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this triggers immediate account termination and referral to authorities.

3. Videos

Nabi allows video uploads for Modeling posts to showcase fashion in motion. Videos are subject to the same standards as photos plus the following:

Absolutely banned video content

• Sexually explicit material — any video that depicts or simulates sexual acts, includes nudity of a sexual nature, or is intended to arouse. This includes soft-core content.
• Violence & gore — videos depicting fighting, assault, killing, torture, self-harm or any form of physical violence — whether fictional, documentary or animated.
• Terrorism & extremism — videos that promote, glorify or recruit for terrorist organisations, violent extremist groups, or acts of mass violence.
• Robbery, crime & illegal activity — footage that promotes, glorifies or instructs viewers in criminal behaviour including theft, fraud, drug use or illegal weapons handling.

Content requiring editorial judgement

Nabi carefully reviews uploads that contain any of the following before they are published:

• Smoking or tobacco use — videos where smoking is incidental background activity may be approved; videos where smoking is featured or glamourised will not.
• Alcohol consumption — similarly, incidental background activity may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
• Romantic scenes — tasteful, non-explicit affection in a fashion context may be approved; anything more intimate will not.
• Depictions of death or injury in fiction — even clearly fictional content depicting these themes is reviewed before publication.
• Occult or witchcraft themes — content touching on these themes is reviewed for context and whether it glorifies harm.

Videos flagged for editorial review will be held in a "pending" state. You will be notified of the outcome within 48 hours.

4. Written Content

This covers listing titles, descriptions, captions, tags and comments.

• Write in any language — Nabi supports Ghana's multilingual community.
• Be accurate and honest. Misleading descriptions are a listing violation.
• Do not include personal contact details (phone numbers, WhatsApp, email, social handles) in public listing descriptions or captions. Buyers contact sellers through Nabi's built-in enquiry system.
• Do not use descriptions to advertise services or prices that differ from what is entered in the listing fields.
• Do not include profanity, slurs or hate speech in any text field.

5. Design Files & Attachments

Measurement and style-specification files (up to 3 files per record) are visible only to the buyer and the assigned tailor. They must not contain malware, executable code or content that would violate this policy if displayed publicly.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property

You must have the right to upload any content you post. Do not upload:

• Photos or videos taken by a professional photographer without a commercial licence or the photographer's written permission.
• Music as a video soundtrack without a licence from the rights holder.
• Designs, patterns or artwork created by someone else without their permission.

Nabi will respond to valid copyright takedown notices under applicable law. Repeat infringers will have their accounts suspended.

7. Reporting & Enforcement

Every piece of content on Nabi has a "Report" option. Use it if you believe something violates this policy. Reports are reviewed by the Nabi trust-and-safety team.

Consequences for violations scale with severity:

• Minor first offence — content removed, warning issued.
• Repeat or moderate offence — content removed, posting suspended for up to 30 days.
• Severe violation (illegal content, CSAM, terrorism) — immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement.
