Nabi Market is an extension of Ghana's bespoke fashion industry — a curated space where skilled tailors, designers and artisans can reach buyers who value quality, craftsmanship and originality. To keep the marketplace trustworthy and safe for everyone, the following rules apply to all listings published on Nabi.
1. Who Can List Products
Only users with a verified Tailor account may publish listings on Nabi Market. To be verified you must:
- Register with a valid phone number and complete your seller profile.
- Pay the one-time posting activation fee (if applicable to your account tier).
- Ensure that your listed products meet the quality standards described in this policy.
Nabi reserves the right to review any listing before it appears publicly, and to remove listings that do not meet our standards at any time.
2. What You May Sell
Nabi Market was built for the fashion and lifestyle industry. Permitted product categories include, but are not limited to:
- Bespoke and made-to-measure clothing (kente, ankara, corporate wear, casual wear).
- Accessories — bags, belts, hats, scarves and jewellery.
- Footwear crafted or customised by the seller.
- Home décor and soft furnishings (fabrics, cushions, table linens).
- Children's fashion and accessories.
- Sportswear and uniforms made or customised by the seller.
- Beauty and grooming products — hair, skin and nail care of non-prohibited nature.
- General consumer goods of demonstrably high quality, subject to Nabi's discretionary approval.
Products sold outside Nabi's primary fashion focus are subject to additional review before approval.
3. Strictly Prohibited Products
The following products are absolutely banned from Nabi Market regardless of local laws or seller intentions. Listings in these categories will be removed immediately and the associated account suspended:
Controlled substances & tobacco
- Tobacco products of any kind — cigarettes, cigars, loose-leaf tobacco, shisha.
- Vape pens, e-cigarettes, vaping liquid and all nicotine-delivery devices.
- Marijuana, cannabis, CBD products and any other controlled substance or derivative.
- Prescription medications, pharmaceuticals and supplements making medical claims.
- Drug paraphernalia of any kind.
Weapons & dangerous goods
- Firearms, handguns, rifles, shotguns and replica weapons that can be mistaken for real.
- Ammunition, magazines, silencers, bump stocks and firearm accessories.
- Explosives, detonators, fireworks and pyrotechnics.
- Knives marketed primarily as weapons (hunting knives used as tools are reviewed case by case).
- Tasers, stun guns, pepper spray and other defensive or offensive weapons.
- Hazardous chemicals, poisons and flammable liquids.
Alcohol
- Alcoholic beverages, spirits and any product with a primary purpose of intoxication.
Counterfeit & infringing goods
- Fake or replica luxury goods misrepresented as genuine.
- Items that infringe a third-party trademark, patent or copyright without authorisation.
Adult & explicit content
- Sexually explicit or adult-only products.
- Items designed to facilitate non-consensual acts.
Other prohibited categories
- Live animals or products made from endangered or protected species (ivory, fur from protected animals).
- Human organs, body parts, blood or tissue.
- Items associated with gambling, pyramid schemes or illegal lotteries.
- Stolen goods or items obtained through illegal means.
- Any product whose sale is prohibited under Ghanaian law.
4. Listing Quality Standards
Every listing must include:
- At least one clear, high-quality photograph of the actual product.
- An accurate title and description — no misleading claims.
- A realistic price in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS).
- Available sizes, materials and any customisation options.
- An honest delivery time estimate.
Listings with stock photos, watermarked images from third-party websites, or descriptions copied from other sellers will be rejected. Your photos must represent the actual item the buyer will receive.
5. Draft Listings
You may save a listing as a draftat any time. Drafts are private and visible only to you in your "My Listings" section under your profile. They are not publicly visible until you publish them. Draft listings do not expire, so you can complete them at your own pace.
6. Pricing & Fees
You set your own product price. Nabi applies a platform fee and service fee to each completed order — these are deducted from the buyer's payment before it is released to you. Fee rates are shown in your seller dashboard and at checkout. Nabi reserves the right to adjust fee rates with 14 days' notice.
Do not inflate prices to offset fees in a way that misleads buyers, and do not attempt to arrange off-platform payments to circumvent escrow. Doing so removes buyer protection and violates these policies.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Immediate removal of the offending listing.
- A formal warning to your account.
- Temporary suspension of listing privileges.
- Permanent account termination for serious or repeated violations.
- Referral to law-enforcement authorities where illegal activity is detected.
To report a listing you believe violates this policy, use the "Report" function on the listing or email trust@nabi.studio.
8. Appeals
If your listing is removed and you believe it was in error, you may appeal by contacting us at appeals@nabi.studio within 14 days of the removal notice. Include your listing ID and a brief explanation. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
